Conversations
It is tough being a parent. Being a parent of a special needs child adds another level of complexity to daily responsibilities and interactions. Our parent group is designed to provide support from other parents and caregivers with similar experiences, offer encouragement and best practices, share successes stories and knowledge, and create a community parents and caregivers learn from and grow together
We do not judge or force advice on each other; this is a place for comfort, and support. The journey is easier when we do it together.
Sibling
Connection
Sibling Connection provides peer support, guidance and information to siblings of kids with special needs in a lively, recreational setting. Open to children in K-5th grade, SibCon workshops are run by Aiden’s Wagon staff and Volunteers.

Recognizing that being a brother or sister of a person with special needs has unique ups and downs, SibCon workshops offer a variety of fun activities and great opportunities to celebrate their contributions and talk with peers who “understand”.
Family
Enrichment
Statistics show the average cost per year for a family on the autism spectrum is over $60,000.00 per year. Often family’s salaries decrease once an Autism Diagnosis is provided. One parent typically stays home to care for the child, giving up the additional income; this leaves very little room for families to participate in extracurricular activities.
Aiden’s Wagon provides a quarterly family fun day/night; enjoy fun-filled activities for the whole family. Both parents and children will have the opportunity to meet new friends who share similar circumstances while having an awesome experience at one of our family-friendly events.
